It’s The Time of Year For Giving

It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle bustle of the holiday’s. There are gifts to buy, families to visit, parties to attend, decorations to hang, seemingly endless lists of things to do in a short amount of time. It is easy to forget that while we worry about whether or not to serve ham or turkey, there are children struggling with illness and families simply trying to cope with the pain that goes with watching a loved one struggle, all while wrestling with the financial burden that accompanies it.

Since 1974 the Ronald McDonald House has been helping these families with the best gift that could be given to a family, the gift of being together while helping alleviate the burdens that comes with illness. This December, help us at SAFYRE help our local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House here in Dallas help these families so that they can celebrate the only thing that matters to them this holiday season, family.

How You Can Help

On December 13th we will host our monthly Dare 2 Share mixer and we are asking everyone to bring a donatable item with them to the event. The Dallas chapter has a specific need right now for toys and gifts aimed at infants and adolescents for their store.

Cash Donations

We will be accepting cash donations at the event. A $5 minimum donation is required to be entered into the drawing in lieu of a item to donate.

Rules

You must be present at the event to win. Due to the nature of some of the prizes, some drawings will be restricted to couples only. For those specific drawings if a single individual is drawn, they will be re-entered for another chance to win. For the SDC travel voucher you must be a verifiable active SDC member to take possession.

SDC Memberships are valid for couples and single females only. SDC Travel voucher is valid for SDC travel only, is non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. You will need to provide your names, SDC name and email to get voucher which will be furnished to SDC.com.
