NOTICE

Updated: April 29th, 2021

The contents of this guide should be considered supplemental to any rules and regulations or code of conduct established by a specific event. Failure to adhere to any of the rules and regulations set forth herein will result in ejection from the event and potential suspension or exclusion from future SAFYRE events.

For the purpose of these established rules, “participants” shall refer to any person or persons participating in, attending, or staffing an event.

By attending a SAFYRE event, you agree to bound by the code of conduct defined herein as a condition of participation.

Be Lawful

Participants are required to act in accordance with any local, state, or federal laws. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Possession and Use of Illegal Drugs

  • Possession of a weapon (Weapons of any type are not allowed in a SAFYRE event, even if allowed by law or license)

  • Nudity

  • Lewd and/or Lascivious Behavior

  • Alcohol Consumption

  • Solicitation

  • Violent or Threatening Behavior

SAFYRE takes the safety and well being of its staff and guests seriously and maintaining a safe environment for everyone is our primary concern.

SAFYRE Events Are Considered “ABSOLUTE ZERO” Events

We pride ourselves in creating relaxing, exciting, engaging and fun experiences. But first and foremost we want SAFE events. Absolute Zero means:

  • ZERO Pressure. No means no. Yes is not the absence of no. We expect those who participate in our events to respect this in and outside of a SAFYRE event.

  • ZERO Expectations. The only expectations you need to live up to are your own.

  • ZERO Discrimination. Respect everyone around you. We all look different, are different ages, have different beliefs, different desires, different sexual orientations, and different levels of comfort. We are all different period. SAFYRE respects and values the things make us different and expects participants to do the same.

  • ZERO Tolerance. If you violate a “ZERO” rule, you will be asked to leave the event and that could jeopardize your ability to participate in future events.

If you witness someone violating the ZERO rules, or are a victim yourself, tell a SAFYRE staff member or ambassador. We take these very seriously and will respect your privacy and desire to remain anonymous.

Venue

Participants are expected to adhere to any rules and/or code of conduct set forth by the venue. Those rules shall supersede the rules, regulations and code of conduct established here where said rules and/or code of conduct is more restrictive. SAFYRE reserves the right to adopt rules and regulations and a code of conduct that is more restrictive than that of any venue.

Financial Responsibility for Purchases and Damages

All person(s) are responsible for payment for any charges incurred at an event not specifically included as part of the event, including but not limited to food, beverages and/or services rendered, by the venue or vendor based on the terms established by the vendor or venue. SAFYRE defers the right to the venue or vendor to take action against any person or persons for failure to meet any financial obligation to the extent they see fit. SAFYRE reserves the right to prohibit any person or persons not meeting their financial obligations from participating in any future events.

All person or person(s) causing damage of any kind to a venue or a venue/vendor’s property are solely responsible for adequate compensation to the venue or vendor to the extent seen fit by the venue or vendor.

Alcohol and Refusal of Service

For Venues that serve or sell alcohol, SAFYRE defers the right of refusal of service to the venue, however SAFYRE reserves the right to request the venue discontinue alcohol service to any individual or individuals participating in or staffing a SAFYRE event who appears to be under the influence of alcohol, in violation of any local, state or federal law, or a danger to themselves or others.

For events that serve or sell alcohol, no outside alcohol is allowed. For events where bringing in outside alcohol is permitted, participants do so at their own risk and are responsible for their own service.

Minimum Age Requirements

All SAFYRE events are limited to adults of age 21 and over. While we recognize that some venues may allow people under the age of 21 on premise, those under the minimum age of 21 will not be allowed to participate in or staff a SAFYRE event in any capacity, nor will they be allowed in any area specifically reserved for the event. We reserve the right to ask participants show identification with proof of age at any event for any reason as a condition for entry or participation.

Sexual Activity

There is no sexual activity of any type, both physical and suggestive, allowed in a public event.

Dress Code

All SAFYRE events are considered “smart casual”. There are a couple exceptions:

  • The event defines its own dress code explicitly

  • The venue has a more restrictive dress code, in this case the dress code of the venue is to be considered the event dress code.

Regardless of the dress code, participants are expected to be dressed appropriately in accordance with local laws when in public areas of an event or outside of a venue. Nudity of any type is prohibited.

Security and Staff

SAFYRE may employ event security at certain events. Their primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, guest safety, crowd control and ensuring that guests act in accordance with this code of conduct, additional rules established by the event, and/or rules established by the venue. Guests are expected to comply with these security representative’s instructions, as well as the instructions of any SAFYRE staff member, SAFYRE ambassador, venue security, and/or venue staff member.

Third Party Promotion

Generally we at SAFYRE do not have an issue with guests promoting non-SAFYRE events while attending our events, with the following conditions:

  • It is clear that the event is not affiliated with SAFYRE and is not endorsed by SAFYRE.

  • The event does not conflict with a published SAFYRE event of any kind.

  • There is not an attempt to lure guests out of a SAFYRE event to attend another event, party or similar gathering.

We reserve the right to ask any guest to discontinue promoting third party events for any reason in addition to the conditions stated above if we feel the promotion is not in the best interest of SAFYRE, it’s staff or it’s guests.

Cell Phones and Photography

At SAFYRE we understand that cell phones are an important part of our lives and since we do most of our work digitally, we expect people to be using their phones for various reasons at our public events. The only thing we ask to use caution when taking photos and that the following guidelines be observed:

  • Venue rules supersede event rules in regards to restricting photography of any kind. Guests and staff are expected to refrain from photos of any kind when not allowed by a venue.

  • Make sure everyone in your photo is aware they are in a photo and have agreed to have their photo taken. Privacy is important to people, so be aware of any faces in the background.

  • Never post a photo on the internet or social media without the express consent of everyone visible in your photo, including background participants. Never assume simply obfuscating someone’s face is sufficient.

  • While specifying you were at a SAFYRE event is acceptable when posting photos online, never imply that SAFYRE or any of its sponsors, affiliates or partners endorses you or your photo in any capacity unless authorized to do so in writing.

It is the responsibility of event guests to ensure any photo they take or post online or in social media does not violate another person or persons privacy without their consent, are not in violation of any state, local or federal law, do not violate the service it is being posted to’s terms of use or guidelines, and that the person taking the photo has express permission to use the image for their own use as well as permission to use any assets contained in the image.

SAFYRE may for the purposes of marketing and social media take photos at any of our events but make an effort to make sure no faces are present or are thoroughly obfuscated unless express written consent is given to SAFYRE.

SAFYRE reserves the right to prohibit photography of any kind at any event.
